Newbury’s Saturday card has been called off due to a waterlogged track.

The Berkshire circuit received 13mm of rain overnight with more forecast throughout the day on Friday.

More rain is forecast on Saturday leaving clerk of the course George Hill with little option but to call off the meeting that featured a pair of Group Three races in the BetVictor St Simon Stakes and the BetVictor Horris Hill Stakes.
